Removals, What We Do

Whether the bees have gotten in between your floor joists, your wall studs, an overhang, a bay window, or any other place, we can handle it.  We’ve been doing this full-time for over ten years and we’re the best in the business.  We carry a full guarantee on our work and we’re licensed and insured.  We remove and rescue the honeybees with the most limited invasion to your home and we do all the repairs including the first layer of mud on inside sheetrock.  If we work from the outside, we will replace all boards.  We take great pride in our work not only as beekeepers, but as carpenters as well.

For a typical job we do the following:
*Expose the nest and vacuum the bees into a container using a specialized suction system that does not harm the bees.
*Remove wax, honey, pollen, propolis, and bees from the cavity.  (We’re careful with this removal since we’ll later reconstruct this material to give back to the bees.)
*Clean the cavity out.
*Pack the cavity with fiberglass insulation.
*Replace sheetrock or boards.
*Apply the first layer of mud on sheet rock when applicable.
*Caulk entranceway and all surrounding holes and cracks.
